I actually found this on Facebook, but the picture said from Pinterest and I just can't find it, so I don't know who to give credit to for this picture!!! I thought this was an awesome idea, so I made my own version of it for my craft/sewing table.
The one above looks to be attached to a table covering. I did not want a table covering on my craft table as I slide my sewing machine back and forth and well, it just would not work. So, mine is going to be attached via velcro. ( I actually used tape in this picture for photo purposes)
I made this out of one the vintage fabric calendars I purchased at a thrift store last week. I added some lace, a tape measure, sewed down for pockets and now I have a nice little organizer for the things I use the most.I don't have all the pockets filled yet until I get the velcro.
I am thinking of making one to hang at the bi fold doors for larger items. I will attach it to a hanger - much like an over the door shoe organizer. I can make 2 of them for each set of bi fold doors.
We are having some snow and ice here today, and I will not be going to Ladies Craft day....Gonna stay in and enjoy the wood stove, crafting, cooking for Mr H and just enjoying being stuck inside the house. By the way, Mr H is feeling better and went to work today! Still perfect attendance!!!
