Ladies Craft Night - Tussie Mussies

Anna Mae calls them Tussie Mussies, I call them Victorian Cones....you say potato, I say potato...somehow that doesn't work in writing....anyway, we worked on our tussie cones....
The ones on the bottom are not quite finished. Some are Halloween and some are lace.

Anna Mae made a beautiful tussie with her vintage paper. She also has her filled with doilies, lace and other embellishments.

This one is mine. Simple, like me. I do not have it filled yet. I didn't have my supplies along to fill it as I need to dig out my fiberfill to stuff inside the cone.

One of Anna Mae's Halloween cones. It also needs to be filled yet, just waiting for the right Halloween embellishments to come along.

I just love pearls, lace and doilies along with vintage looking jewelry. It's a pity we will be selling these cones. I may have to make a few just for myself! I will though, make one for my granddaughter for Halloween.

Next Ladies Craft Night will be more of the same. We have over 100 hard, thick cardboard cones that we purchased - quite cheap - 55 for $10! Not bad if I say so myself. So with each of us having 55, we have enough cones to go around!

Also this week, I will be personally making some more altered trays, altered boxes and a few spool ornaments in my craft room. In addition, I have my #2 project involving the croquet balls to get finished up. So much to do....so little time!
